Back to: The famous constellation of Orion is very easy to recognize: it's also easy to find the Orion Nebula (M42), pink-red coloured, placed in the sword of the giant Orion.
In this image there are also two red nebulas, made of hidrogen clouds: the one at left of orion (shaped as a C) is Barnard Loop, the one above is called Orion's Caput.
