A half degree south of bright Alnitak (the
east component of Orion's belt) there is the famous Horsehead nebula, made
famous by the divulgation of the professional astrophotos and not by the
beauty at the telescope. In fact, visually, it's a very difficult object,
that need particular filters, big telescopes and very dark skys. Another
nice nebula is Flame, at east of Alnitak.
