They are a very good binoculars for the
wide field observation and maximum brightness. The exit pupil of 6.7 mm
is ideal to get maximum brightness on faint objects as diffuse nebulas.
The pupil extraction is excelltent: it comfortably allows observations
with the glasses.
But it's under the dark skies that it
gives big satisfactions: spectacular panoramas of the Milky Way and its
nebulas, great visions of M31 to the extreme borders, nebulas such as
North
America and Veil are visible magnificently.
Using a pair of UHC filters (from Howie
Glatter) also very faint nebulas are visible:
California, the Monkey Head, the Flame...
One of the UHC
filters
that perfectly fit in the rubber of the eyepieces.
