The Milky Way center is a field rich in
nebulosity and clusters. The enormous amount of stars would send us a lot
of light if there were not the dust clouds that absorb it. In fact the
geometrical Milky Way center is in a field with a little stars, at top-center.
The two major costellations visible in the image are the Sagittarius (at
left) and the Scorpius (at right).
The image is a mosaic of two frames.
