10 December 2011 A partial lunar eclipse at sunset

Italy was not the best place to
observe this lunar eclipse: the Moon rised a few minutes after the
sunset and the eclipse phase was near the end of partial egress.
Nevertheless I've tried to image this event from the countryside of my
town. The Moon rised over far mountains near Como, not directly visible
due to haze. Here are three images, that show the partially eclipsed
Moon rising over some buildings of Tradate.
