Monoceros is a constellation rich in interesting nebula such as the Rosette and Cone nebula. Only 2° west of Cone lies this interesting field with the most prominent nebula catalogued as IC 2169. Inside this large blie nebula lies some other catalogue numbers such as VdB76, 77 and 78. A little bit North (here at right) lies IC 446, connected to the first with a dark nebula lane. VdB 79 is nearby. Two other blue nebula are on the East side (here above), catalogued as NGC 2245 and 2247. All the field is rich with dark nebulas. Only a little and faint part of the Cone nebula is visible here on the top-left border. Definitely a really rich and interesting region!
