LBN 468 is a large and very faint nebula in Cepheus, not very far from the well known NGC 7023, the Iris nebula (2°
toward East). Inside this nebula some dark nebulae are present such as
LDN 1146 and 1147 (below), LDN 1153 and 1156 (left), LDN 1155 (top
middle), and LDN 1150 (top right). A very small yellow nebula inside the
latter is GN20.35.9. A similar nebula is GN20.45.4 positioned inside
LDN 1156, on the left.
This nebula is so faint that, when I was collecting the data, I couldn't see it
on 10 min subs. Nevertheless I'm quite satisfied of the overall
result because the object nicely fits the field of view of
122'x82'.
