Witch nebula -  IC 2118
.
The name is due to the shape that resemble vaguely a profile of the face of a witch. Catalogued as IC2118, it's a very faint nebula and it reflect the blue light of the close star Rigel (Beta Orionis) that is 2.5° east.
For revealing some details of this nebula I needed to composite two images and to elaborate heavily. I tried to test two different film (E200 and Provia 400) to verify which one is the better on this nebula: both films where the same.
