This image show the wonderful star region
in which lie Lagoon nebula (M8 at bottom) and Trifid (M20 at top). In the
last see the dark nebulas that split the nebula in three pieces, giving
the name, and the blu nebula. A little at south-est of M8 there is the
globular cluster NGC6544. Between M8 and M20 there are two faint emission
nebulas: NGC6526 and Sh2-26. A little at north-est of M20 there is the
poor open cluster M21.
