IC 443

IC 443 is a supernova remanent, an expansion gas cloud. It also have a good "luminosity" in radio waves. At 1° E there is a big and dim nebula, catalogued as Sh2-249. The bright stars visible in the image are Propus (Eta Gem, at right) and Tejat Posterior (Mu Gem, at left).
